Easy copycat starbucks pink drink

Among the many chain eateries where patrons create their own off-menu concoctions is Starbucks. There's an entire world of Starbucks drinks you can't find on the store's menu, from inventive takes on Frappuccinos to mashups of well-loved beverages (have you ever tried the chai-der?). Though a lot of them receive social media attention, none of the off-menu items become as well-known as the Pink Drink.

 Ingredients:

  1. 2 bags hibiscus-based tea (preferably TAZO Passion)
  2. 2 fresh strawberries, sliced
  3. 1 c. white grape juice
  4. 1/2 c. light coconut milk
  5. 1 Tbsp. simple syrup
  6. Ice

Directions:

Step 01:

Boil 1/2 cup water in a kettle or small pot. Transfer to an airtight receptacle, insert tea bags, and let steep for ten minutes. Throw away the bags. After about 15 minutes, remove the tea from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature.

Step 02:

Put the tea, strawberries, grape juice, milk, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add ice to the shaker, cover it, and shake briskly for about 30 seconds, or until the exterior of the shaker is completely frozen. After pouring into a cup, serve.
